Adelante Allies and Ambassadors are individuals or groups who help advance and improve the lives of underserved women and their families by engaging in one-off or periodic activities that support Adelante Foundation fundraising, partnership development, and awareness-generating goals. Raise Awareness & Funds

From bake sales to hiking the Appalachian trail and everything in between, get creative in raising money for microloans for women in Honduras. Create your own campaign or choose from an existing activity then help spread the word. Adelante Foundation will then allocate funds you raise to the project of your choice and keep you apprised of the impact.

Immersion Trips

Meet with Adelante staff in Roatan, La Ceiba or any of our other locations to travel to villages, visit Adelante clients, and enjoy the beautiful jungles, oceans, and sites of Honduras! The experience will provide a deeper understanding of how we alleviate poverty through microfinance. We recommend adding a minimum of a 1/2 day tour with Adelante to your Honduras itinerary, and we are happy to connect you with a trusted tour operator to explore nearby jungles, sanctuaries, rivers, and islands.

Learn, Connect, and Advocate

There are many ways to become an advocate and amplify the mission of Adelante. The first and the most crucial step we can take is to learn about places like Honduras – the history, culture, and the unique circumstances the local population faces. The next step is to share your learnings with others to help cultivate deeper understanding, empathy and respect. Consider reading and discussing books or documentaries.

A seasoned Adelante Ambassador would be happy to join the group and share information about the context-specific to Adelante Foundation. Consider connecting and sharing information with influencers, or inviting an Adelante representative to speak to a club, church , school or on a podcast.
