Charles is an exemplary Adelante team member who has worked in the main office in La Ceiba for more than three years. One reason why he enjoys working with us is the love and respect he has for his mother and five sisters; he knows how deserving women are of opportunities and how tremendously capable they are of helping themselves and their loved ones. Charles has a particularly special relationship with his mom — both of them were born on August 20 and have gotten to share birthday celebrations together for all of Charles’ life. On their birthday weekend this year, they took some time to talk with us about entrepreneurship, family, and the importance of supporting women in Honduras. Take a look at this video to see what they had to say!
