Gabriela oversees all Honduran operations and staff. She holds a bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Finance, as well as a Master’s in Finance. With over a decade of experience, she has led, managed, and directed finance departments as well as the Foundation general operations with a high level of expertise. In addition to her professional career, Gabriela has also served as a university professor in postgraduate finance programs. Her motivation and connection with Adelante go beyond the professional realm—it is deeply personal. She takes great pride in supporting women entrepreneurs in Honduras, just as her own mother once did to provide for their family and move them forward.
Iber supports development initiatives for the organization. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and plays a vital role in ensuring that the needs of both national and international stakeholders are met. His work is essential to advancing the mission of Adelante Foundation, as he actively seeks out strategic partnerships that amplify and extend the organization’s impact. Through his vision and dedication, Iber helps build bridges that empower communities and drive lasting change.
Octavio leads our Risk and Compliance Department; he is a fundamental pillar in our operations and in ensuring the financial well-being of every client we serve. With over two decades of experience in traditional banking and microfinance, his outstanding work is backed by a solid professional track record and strengthened by the technical knowledge he continues to acquire as he pursues a degree in Business Management.
Alejandra leads our Education Department. She holds a degree in English Teaching and brings over a decade of experience to the role. The success of our educational programs are due in large part to her outstanding leadership—and without a doubt, she shines as a true star when it comes to implementing and measuring social impact indicators.
Ruddy, with a solid background in Computer Science Engineering, Ruddy has built a successful career spanning over a decade as a Systems Manager. Leading Adelante’s IT team, he has spearheaded the organization’s digital transformation—implementing technological solutions that enhance both operations and overall management.
Jodi leads the fundraising strategy and implementation for Adelante. She spent a year in Honduras and regularly works with and visits field office staff and beneficiaries. Jodi also facilitates impact tours with individuals and groups wishing to learn about Adelante and visit Honduras. Jodi graduated with a MA in International Development from the University of Denver. She has nearly twenty years of program management experience with mission driven international organizations. Specializing in education, microfinance, and economic development, she also possesses experience working on clean energy, global health, and food security issues. She sees microfinance as the most powerful sustainable solution for underserved populations seeking self-sufficiency.
Brenda coordinates this key department, ensuring both the well-being and discipline of our entire team. That’s why it requires a qualified and principled leader. She understands this deeply—and it’s precisely why she leads the department with such integrity and a thoughtful balance between care and accountability. With a degree in Business Administration and experience in managing educational projects as well as leading human resources teams, she plays a vital role in the continuous development of our staff, ultimately resulting in better service for every client we support.
Audry is our Finance Coordinator. With a degree in Business Administration and nearly a decade of experience in accounting and finance, she has been leading the department with excellence. As she often says—and consistently demonstrates through her actions, order, discipline, and the motivation to do things right the first time are key to ensuring our foundation’s success. A success that ultimately translates into meaningful, positive impact in the lives of thousands of women across Honduras.
Oscar, our Operations Manager, holds a degree in Agricultural Business Administration and brings over a decade of experience in both traditional banking and microfinance. He has firsthand knowledge of the needs of the communities we serve, and it is this deep understanding that drives and motivates him to give his very best—working toward a brighter future for women entrepreneurs and their families.
