You can’t teach what you don’t know. This is why we invest in our employees with as much care as we expect them to give to our clients, giving them opportunities to work together, learn together, and teach each other, in order to grow as a community and lead by example. Our second annual staff training in August was a great success with that in mind, gathering more than 40 field officers from all five of our branches. The beauty of Lake Yojoa made it easy for everyone to relax, open their minds and gain perspective.

Honduran Operations Manager, Celso Batiz: “Adelante Foundation is always looking to help employees acquire greater skills and knowledge to increase their competence, to achieve optimal performance in each of their duties…Group training is fundamental to achieving the objectives of our organization.” As the four-day training progressed, we explored a variety of topics from leadership and coaching to sales strategy and customer service. Perhaps equally important, we had time to get to know each other better and secure the close bonds needed to make our team strong.

“This training session was of great benefit…each and every one of the workshops offered a lesson to be transformed into positive results for the benefit of our clients and Adelante,” says Celso.

As we focus on our vision for the coming year, we are confident that the knowledge gained in Lake Yojoa last month will be implemented to serve our clients better, and thus to achieve success in all facets of our mission.
